Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position at a hospital in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- General Medical Surgical ICU setting (Unit 640A)
- 12-hour day shifts, schedule varies 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
- Charting performed in Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS
- Preferred certifications: CCRN and NIHSS
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken a minimum 2-year break before applying
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is extended
- First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — prior travel or equivalent experience is expected given the 2-year minimum requirement
