Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position at a hospital in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

  • General Medical Surgical ICU setting (Unit 640A)
  • 12-hour day shifts, schedule varies 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract
  • No on-call requirements
  • Charting performed in Cerner EMR

Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS
  • Preferred certifications: CCRN and NIHSS
  • Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken a minimum 2-year break before applying
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is extended
  • First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — prior travel or equivalent experience is expected given the 2-year minimum requirement
