Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a critical access hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of recent L&D experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work setting is a critical access hospital with 22 total staff beds
• LDRP unit requiring competency in Labor & Delivery, triage, and postpartum care
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity and patient type
• Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend is typically required
• On-call is required once per pay period (max PRN)
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required per unit needs
• Scrubs may be any color; OR scrubs are provided by the facility
• No parking fee at this facility

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP/L&D nursing experience required
• Competency in Labor & Delivery, triage, and postpartum care is required
• Seasoned travelers only — prior travel nursing experience is required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Active professional license required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care including labor and delivery, triage, and postpartum
• Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates with prior Providence facility experience (permanent, travel, registry, or per-diem) must disclose the location(s) and dates worked
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position; a few days may be approved but significant RTO is discouraged
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
