Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a critical access hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of recent L&D experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work setting is a critical access hospital with 22 total staff beds
- LDRP unit requiring competency in Labor & Delivery, triage, and postpartum care
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity and patient type
- Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- Every other weekend is typically required
- On-call is required once per pay period (max PRN)
- Floating between all facilities within the state is required per unit needs
- Scrubs may be any color; OR scrubs are provided by the facility
- No parking fee at this facility
Requirements
- Active MT RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP/L&D nursing experience required
- Competency in Labor & Delivery, triage, and postpartum care is required
- Seasoned travelers only — prior travel nursing experience is required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active professional license required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care including labor and delivery, triage, and postpartum
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates with prior Providence facility experience (permanent, travel, registry, or per-diem) must disclose the location(s) and dates worked
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position; a few days may be approved but significant RTO is discouraged
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
