Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital assignment, with at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 277 staffed beds
- PT unit with potential to float to acute rehab and other facilities within the state
- Patient load of 8–10 patients per day
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Free on-site parking available
- Local candidates are accepted
- Block scheduling considered at manager's discretion
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Acute care hospital experience required; acute rehab experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
- Scrub color guidelines are not specified for PT; please inquire for details
- This is a reduced non-billable orientation position with 0 orientation hours
