Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience and an active CT or compact RN license.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- ICU unit assignment
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required as needed
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Free parking available on site
Requirements
- Active CT state RN license or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 1 professional reference required
- Candidates must not have any priors on their nursing license
- Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted for this role
- Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
- Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities
