Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.
Details
- True LDRP unit delivering approximately 100 babies per month
- Teaching hospital with both a Family Medicine and OB/GYN residency program delivering on the unit
- In-house OB Hospitalist and dedicated anesthesiologist available 24/7
- Labor staffing ratio is 1:1; Mother/Baby staffing ratio is 1:3-4 couplets
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every third weekend required
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN (Beginner or Intermediate)
- Preferred certifications: ACLS or AWHONN Advanced
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
