Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab position in Rio Rancho, NM, requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of experience and a valid NM or Compact RN license.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting — not a nursing home or LTAC facility
- Single dedicated rehab unit; all patients are acute inpatient rehab
- Typical patient length of stay is approximately 14 days
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Charting performed in Cerner
- Navy blue scrubs and closed-toe shoes required
- Free parking available on site
Requirements
- Active NM or Compact RN license — must provide proof of license at time of consideration
- Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required
- Inpatient hospital and/or rehab setting experience required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS certification preferred; required if serving in a charge nurse role
- Ability to fill in as charge nurse when needed
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and will not be approved after an offer is extended
- Candidate cannot take every holiday off
- Any call-outs must be communicated with more than 24 hours notice
- 8-week contract (approximately)
