Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position at a skilled nursing facility in Lebanon, NH, requiring a compact RN license and experience in long-term care settings including memory care and sub-acute units.
Details
- Skilled nursing facility setting with Skilled Nursing, Sub-Acute, and Dementia/Memory Care units
- Long-term care resident population including those requiring memory care, sub-acute, and pain management support
- EMR: PointClickCare (PCC)
- Night shift position with flexible shift lengths of 8, 12, or 16 hours
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Recent experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or sub-acute environment required
- Proficiency in memory care techniques and protocols
- Knowledge of MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments for long-term care facilities
- Strong background in case management practices
- Two manager references required for consideration
- IV skills, IV medication administration, tube feedings, and light wound care experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include medication administration, resident health assessments, nursing care plan development and implementation, and monitoring resident progress and changes in condition
- Provides support across specialized areas including PT, OT, substance use disorder (SUD), and pain management
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and task management skills are essential for this role
- Note: The recruiter notes reference Trauma Level experience requirements, which conflict with the long-term care/SNF setting described in the job description — the SNF-focused requirements above take precedence
