Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring Epic experience, prior travel nursing experience, and an active CA RN license.

Details

Operating Room (OR) unit in an acute care hospital setting
Available shifts include Days (5x8, 7:00–15:30 or 9:30–18:00) and Evenings (5x8, 14:30–23:00)
Weekend call required up to once per month

Requirements

Active California RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides patient and family-centered care through critical thinking, effective communication, and clinical nursing judgment
Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
