Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a 28-bed Medical Surgical unit, working night shifts with ACLS certification required.

Details

• 28-bed Medical Surgical unit with an active Unit Practice Council
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Patient population includes general medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Uses Workday as the facility's HR/operations platform

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum education: ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Must provide date of birth (MM/DD) and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, patient and family education, and facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities
• Delegates and oversees tasks performed by other team members within the nursing plan of care
• Actively participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer monitoring, and CAUTI prevention
• Patient-centered, team-focused environment with an active Unit Practice Council
