Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel contract on a Med/Surg Oncology unit, requiring a WV or compact RN license and at least 2 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Acute care setting on a 5th Floor Med/Surg Oncology unit
• 12-hour day shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Charting performed in Allscripts EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS and NIHSS
• Valid, unexpired driver's license required for consideration
• Copy of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before re-applying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than a cumulative total of one year before taking a 2-year break
• Two supervisor and/or peer references required, including at least one supervisor reference; if the candidate worked at a permanent facility within the last 12 months, one reference must be from that facility
• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
