Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week assignment in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting in Rochester, NH.

Details

• Located in an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit within the main hospital building, 3W floor
• 19-bed unit staffed by a multidisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, PTAs, SLPs, RNs, LPNs, CNCs, and PCTs
• Therapy-to-patient ratio of 5:1; nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1
• PT, OT, and SLP service lines are all performed on the unit
• Documentation is completed using Expanse EMR
• Shift hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with potential for occasional weekend shifts
• May float to med/surg if census is lower on the inpatient rehab unit

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy required
• Must have active inpatient care experience; mentorship available for candidates open to additional training
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
• Active NH PT license required if applicable
• Experience with neuro patient populations preferred but not required
• Must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role being applied for
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

• Non-color-specific scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
