Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a rapid response travel contract at an acute care hospital in Georgetown, KY, requiring 2+ years of experience and CNMT certification.

Details

• Located in a 75-bed acute care hospital serving adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in the Radiology/Nuclear Medicine department on the 1st floor
• Full spectrum of nuclear medicine procedures with a heavy emphasis on cardiac imaging
• Uses GE Infinia II equipment with MedHost EHR and NovaRad PACS system
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend, call, or float requirements
• 8-week contract with a rapid response start requirement — candidates must be available to begin within 7–10 days of offer acceptance

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• CNMT certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Associate's Degree required
• Proficiency in IV placement required
• Cardiac imaging experience required; Cardiac QGS/QPS experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Perform a full spectrum of nuclear medicine procedures with a strong focus on cardiac imaging
• Teamwork-oriented work environment
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Black scrubs required; croc-style shoes are not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
