Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Telemetry position in Baton Rouge, LA, requiring prior travel and telemetry nursing experience with a focus on post-cardiac intervention patients.
Details
- Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Specializes in post-cardiac intervention patients, including those recovering from heart catheterization, pacemaker placement, CABG, and TAVR procedures
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently valid in Louisiana
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Telemetry nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
