Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at an acute-care hospital in Martinsville, VA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a VA or compact RN license.
Details
- Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit within a 220-bed acute-care hospital
- Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- AHA certifications required prior to start date
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

- Full-service acute-care hospital offering comprehensive surgical, cardiac, oncology, emergency, and stroke services
- Facility is accredited by the ACC for Chest Pain Center and Heart Failure, and is a member of the Duke Heart Network and Duke Telestroke Network
- Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- Consent to random on-site drug screening and completion of a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form are required
- Orientation is held bi-weekly on Tuesdays
