Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active AL or compact RN license.

Details

  • Med/Surg unit (Floor 1) in a hospital setting in Birmingham, AL
  • Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Alternating weekends required
  • 13-week contract
  • Cerner EMR used

Requirements

  • Active AL or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
  • Current BLS certification required (must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Valid U.S. driver's license required for consideration
  • U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
  • RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
  • First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience is required

Cons

My phone showed her number as spam and I think blocked some of the texts I wish it hadn't have done that but that was nothing on her end all on mine so make sure that you have your settings to allow the calls and texts from spam
