Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Level III Trauma Center in Gallatin, TN, requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience and a valid TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Night shift position on a Med/Surg Telemetry floor (MED/SURG A5), with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 13-week travel contract with 36 hours per week
- Serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups
- Omnicell used for medication dispensing
- Meditech EHR
- Every other weekend requirement, with additional weekend hours as needed
- On-call requirement as needed
- Floating to similar Med/Surg units as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or compact license) required
- Required certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
- IV insertion skills required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate — local candidates are not eligible
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- All candidates must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start
- Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
- 167-bed acute care hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation
- Fully accredited by The Joint Commission
