Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Goldsboro, NC, requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Details

• 48-bed adult Med/Surg unit on the 6th floor of a hospital setting
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6 with approximately 3–4 admissions per day
• Day shift, 7:00am–7:00pm, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• May be placed on standby 1 shift per pay period if census drops

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• NIHSS certification required
• CPI-A certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
