Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position at a pediatric hospital in Ohio, requiring recent Level 1 experience and an OH or compact RN license.
Details
- Position is in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) at a large children's hospital
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg units as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of PICU experience highly preferred; closer to 3 years required for first-time travelers
- Recent Level 1 experience required
- 2 supervisory references required, at least one must be from a supervisor or manager (charge nurse references not accepted)
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered with approximately 3 years of PICU experience and recent Level 1 background
- Local candidates are not eligible for this RN position
- Candidates must not have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years
- Floating to different units is a firm expectation and candidates must be fully prepared to comply
