Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 29-bed unit with cardiac and telemetry patients, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.
Details
- 3 South is a 29-bed Med/Surg unit serving a mixed cardiac and telemetry patient population
- Day shift schedule: 06:45–19:15
- Epic EMR used for charting
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (both must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's license required
- 2 professional references required
- Skills checklist required
Additional Information
- Responsible for direct patient care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing discharge planning
- Navy or maroon scrubs required
