Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Telemetry (Pivot Unit) position in Fort Smith, AR, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active AR or compact RN license.

Details

• Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Medical Telemetry unit (Pivot Unit)
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call or float requirements
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active RN license in Arkansas or a compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Tele experience
• BLS certification required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of the assignment (unless renewal is already scheduled and documented)

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
• Must be willing and enthusiastic about precepting students
• Black scrubs required; open-toe shoes are not permitted
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be subject to a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius is required
