Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient sonography position requiring dual ECHO and Vascular registration and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology/vascular ultrasound setting
• Procedures include abdominal aorta, aortic studies, arterial graft studies, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial and venous studies, M-mode, renal artery duplex, and transcranial Doppler
• Adult patient population
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS
• EMR is Epic; experience is mandatory
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
• Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI; either RDCS and RVT, or RCS and RVS credentials required
• Candidates with only RVS certification and Echo experience will also be considered
• Adult echocardiography and vascular experience required
• Proficiency with Philips ultrasound systems and PACS
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• A Pass/Fail EKG exam is required during compliance; two attempts are allowed and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
