Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) at an acute care hospital in Brighton, CO
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of ED/emergency nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification required (must not expire prior to start date)
- Current AHA ACLS certification required (must not expire prior to start date)
- ENPC, NRP, and/or PALS certifications as appropriate
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for ED patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
- Executes delegated medical functions and reviews treatment plans in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
- Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- All certifications must be AHA-issued and valid through the assignment start date
