Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position at a hospital in Plano, TX, requiring hands-on experience with colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopy procedures.
Details
- Hospital-based Endoscopy unit with 5 procedure rooms
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures performed include ERCP, EUS, EGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and EBUS
- EMR system: Meditech
- On-call required approximately 4–7 days per month; night shift is call only
- Unit staffed with 5 RNs and 5 endo techs on day shift
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in GI/Endoscopy
- Required procedural skills: colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, ION/bronchoscopy/EBUS, and endoscope reprocessing
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
