Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of acute, trauma, ED, and critical care experience for a night shift block schedule position at a multi-campus health system in Oregon.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a multi-campus health system
• Unit focuses on respiratory and neuro diagnostics
• Adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric patient populations; NICU and pediatric critical care experience preferred
• Block schedule on night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
• Weekends required at minimum every other weekend, with potential for more based on operational need
• Floating required to all 4 campus locations: Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and Madras
• On-call is voluntary only
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• RRT certification required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care, trauma, ED, and critical care settings
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to work independently in a critical access hospital environment
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• License required if applicable

• Must be capable of working independently given the critical access hospital environment
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO is limited to 7 days for this assignment
• Pending license accepted
