Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of acute, trauma, ED, and critical care experience for a night shift block schedule position at a multi-campus health system in Oregon.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a multi-campus health system
- Unit focuses on respiratory and neuro diagnostics
- Adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric patient populations; NICU and pediatric critical care experience preferred
- Block schedule on night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
- Weekends required at minimum every other weekend, with potential for more based on operational need
- Floating required to all 4 campus locations: Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and Madras
- On-call is voluntary only
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- RRT certification required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care, trauma, ED, and critical care settings
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must be able to work independently in a critical access hospital environment
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- License required if applicable

- Provide respiratory therapy services across acute, trauma, emergency, and critical care settings
- Must be capable of working independently given the critical access hospital environment
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO is limited to 7 days for this assignment
- Pending license accepted
