Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of experience in acute, trauma, ED, and critical care settings for a night shift travel assignment at a critical access hospital.
Details
- Critical access hospital setting serving pediatric patients
- Respiratory therapy services provided across up to 4 campus locations: Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and Madras
- Floating within scope is required across all 4 campus locations
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Block schedule
- Weekends required at minimum every other weekend; additional weekends may be required based on operational need
- Epic EMR experience required
- On-call is voluntary only
Requirements
- Active RRT credential required; pending license accepted if applicable
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care, trauma, ED, and critical care settings
- Adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric experience required
- NICU and pediatric critical care experience preferred
- Must be able to work independently in a critical access hospital environment
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address and driving directions from the facility to the candidate's legal address required for consideration
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services independently within a critical access hospital environment
- All time off requests must be submitted upfront; a maximum of 7 days of RTO is permitted for this assignment
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
