Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Epic experience for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Washington State.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 staffed beds
• Teaching hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling required
• Patient ratios depend on acuity
• Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required — refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Responsibilities span floor care, ER, code response, and Rapid Response
• No on-call required
• Charting via Epic (required)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Washington State RRT license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
• Scrubs may be any color
• No parking fee
