Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of GI nursing experience, a CA RN license, and BSN with on-call responsibilities at a hospital in the West Valley area of Los Angeles.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based GI Lab (Endoscopy) unit
- Procedures performed include EGD, EUS, colonoscopy, and ERCP
- Recovery/PACU responsibilities are required as part of this role
- Charting is performed in Epic
- Day shift schedule: 8:00–16:30 (5x8s)
- On-call required: minimum of 1–2 weekdays and 2–3 weekend days per week
- On-call response time of 30 minutes required
- Floating within scope or to like units required per facility needs
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BSN required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of GI RN experience in a hospital setting
- Recovery/PACU experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- At least one prior travel assignment is required — first-time travelers will not be considered
- Candidate must be able to respond to on-call within 30 minutes of the facility
