Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract at a TJC Stroke-accredited hospital in Charlotte, NC, requiring 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT certification.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology / Special Studies department of a 244-bed acute care hospital in Charlotte, NC
- Department serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patient populations
- Anesthesia cases performed as needed
- Average of 8 IR procedures per day
- Equipment includes Siemens Icono Suite, IVUS, Sonosite ultrasound, and Bayer/Medrad power injector
- EMR: Epic (Epic Radiant RIS); PACS: Philips iSite
- Monday through Friday day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- No after-hours coverage, call, or weekend rotation required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience, with most recent experience within the last year
- Completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technologist program or accredited Radiology Interventional program required
- ARRT registry and current BLS certification required
- Procedure-based IR experience required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
- Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Department is supported by Radiology Nursing and Guest Services/Transport for inpatient and observation patients
- Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) plus up to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
- Hospital greens (scrubs) are provided
- Free parking is available in surface lots and parking decks on-site
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates who previously worked a permanent position at an Advocate Health Southeast facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
- Time off requests are subject to manager approval
