Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehab position in Aurora, CO, requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Rehab or M/S RN and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit in Aurora, CO
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, 3–5 RNs, and 2–4 PCTs; night shift includes a charge nurse, 3–5 RNs, and 2 PCTs
- EMR: Meditech
- Floating between two Spalding campuses is required
- Common procedures include wound care and patient transfers
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Rehab or M/S RN
- Minimum 2 years of total clinical experience required
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- IV and blood draw skills preferred
- Prior experience with a rehab patient population preferred

- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- One professional reference required for consideration
