Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Details

• Work in a cardiac cath lab at a 90-bed acute care hospital in the high desert of southeastern Arizona
• Adult patient population with a focus on coronary artery disease (CAD)
• Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiology, occasional IR procedures (vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, nephrostomy tube placement), stress testing, TEE, and tilt testing
• GE equipment utilized; Cerner EMR
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call required on weekends and more than 12 days per month
• Float to IR on an occasional basis

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology
• Required certifications: RN, RRT, or RCIS
• AHA certifications required
• Experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, and IABP preferred
• IR experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including cath lab, stress testing, TEE, and tilt table testing
• Orientation is held bi-weekly
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
