Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a freestanding emergency room setting, with experience in pediatric sonography required.
Details
- Freestanding emergency room setting with a 16-bed ER
- General ultrasound unit with no floating between units required
- Pediatric patient population including neonates, infants, and children requiring studies for intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis
- Day and night shifts available, both 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
- Proficiency scanning neonates, infants, and pediatric patients for intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal to no RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
