Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Ocala, FL, requiring RCIS certification and a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience.

Details

• Work is performed in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 labs
• Performs right and left heart catheterization (diagnostic and interventional) as well as peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Patient ratio is 3:1
• Equipment includes GE lab, Impella, balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS
• Documentation system is Merge Hemo
• Schedule is 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call hours are 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM on a rotating basis
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital to cover STEMI call

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date)
• RCIS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• EP (electrophysiology) experience is a plus
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required

• OR scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
