Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN OR Circulator with primary Neuro experience and DaVinci Xi robotic surgery skills for a day shift assignment.

Details

• Operating Room setting performing General and Neuro Surgery with Urology, GYN, and Ortho cases
• Day shift, 4x10 schedule with 10-hour shifts, limited to 3 Fridays or Mondays off in a 6-week schedule
• Rotating weekend call required approximately every 6-7 days
• Scheduled late shifts required as designated, separate from call responsibilities
• Uses DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning equipment
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Neuro-specific OR experience required
• Experience with General Surgery including Urology and GYN required
• Experience with Ortho surgery including scopes and arthroplasty required
• Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic surgery required
• Experience with Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning required
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with client-approved exemptions only
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required

Additional Information

• Serve as circulating nurse focused on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care
• Act as a patient advocate throughout all surgical procedures
• Must be flexible with case types and demonstrate strong teamwork skills
• Hospital-provided black scrubs required in the OR
• No other scrub colors are acceptable
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate if living within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates within 50 miles are restricted to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90+ days allowed within the past 12 months
