Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska, with first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a Mammography department
- Magnet facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska with 407 staffed beds
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Charting in Epic EMR
- Free on-site parking available
- Floating between facilities within Alaska may be required; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- RTO requests are evaluated on an individual basis and must be disclosed at the time of submission
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
