Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of vascular experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma, Level I Peds Trauma acute care hospital in Florida.

Details

• Work in a 4-room IR suite equipped with 3 biplane rooms (3 Siemens, 1 GE)
• Wide variety of cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management procedures, and oncology procedures (Y-90, MAAs, chemoembolizations)
• Daily caseload of 20–30 cases per tech
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekend work required with one Saturday per month
• On-call required approximately 8–10 days per month depending on staffing; 30-minute response time to arrive at the facility required (on-call sleep rooms available)
• May float within clinical scope to meet facility needs; no floating to sister facilities
• Cerner EMR (preferred)
• 615-bed short-term acute care facility
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of IR experience with vascular experience required
• Experience required in stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, neurological studies, and stroke thrombectomy
• Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsy procedures required
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• FL state license required (pending license not accepted); license required if applicable
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
