Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 12-week travel assignment.
Details
- Adult acute care and outpatient MRI setting in a community hospital
- Performs MRI imaging of the abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, brain, face/soft tissue neck, chest, breast, and spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic)
- Special imaging procedures include diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and perfusion
- Uses MRI equipment from GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba, along with PACS
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Must be willing to float within scope to other areas, including other facilities within a 75-mile radius, based on facility needs
- No block scheduling accommodations available
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
- Community hospital experience required
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
- Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address within the last three months of the projected start date required
- Two supervisory references required
- Copies of certifications required for consideration
- Any gaps in work history of 3 months or more require an explanation
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday or blackout date requests permitted
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible
- Local candidates are not accepted
- First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience
- Former INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from the organization to be eligible for this assignment
