Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN with a current CA RN license and Epic experience for a 13-week travel contract with every-other-weekend requirements.

Details

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in a hospital setting
  • Unit operates with 7 rooms and 14 beds, with an average daily census of 10
  • Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call may be required depending on patient census
  • Floating is required, with possible float to Med/Surg and Ortho units
  • All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
  • EMR: Epic (required)

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab nursing experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will be considered, though the facility prefers a seasoned traveler
  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
  • Former permanent employees of the Providence health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment

My phone showed her number as spam and I think blocked some of the texts I wish it hadn't have done that but that was nothing on her end all on mine so make sure that you have your settings to allow the calls and texts from spam
