Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN with a current CA RN license and Epic experience for a 13-week travel contract with every-other-weekend requirements.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in a hospital setting
- Unit operates with 7 rooms and 14 beds, with an average daily census of 10
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- On-call may be required depending on patient census
- Floating is required, with possible float to Med/Surg and Ortho units
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- EMR: Epic (required)
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered, though the facility prefers a seasoned traveler
- Royal blue scrubs required
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
- Former permanent employees of the Providence health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
