Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience, working nights on a 13-week contract in Maryland.

Details

  • Emergency Department (ED) unit in a hospital setting
  • Treats all age groups from infants to geriatrics
  • Variety of complex diagnoses including behavioral health and trauma cases
  • Patient ratio of 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required within specialty as needed
  • No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
  • Holidays required as they fall per schedule

Requirements

  • Active RN license for the state of Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of ED/ER nursing experience required
