Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in a multi-modality cardiac catheterization lab setting requiring at least 2 years of experience and active TX or compact RN licensure.

• Multi-modality cardiac catheterization lab covering Cath, IR, Neuro, Vascular, and EP procedures
• Hemodynamic monitoring system: Merge Cardio
• EHR system: Cerner
• Day shift schedule: 06:30–17:00
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA accepted)
• Nursys license verification required prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required prior to start
• Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing school required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, positioning, conscious sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedure facilitation
• Prepare, implement, and document individualized plans of care and communicate patient status to the physician throughout procedures
