Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (M) certification for a 13-week acute care assignment in Homer, Alaska.
Details
- Acute care hospital mammography unit
- Schedule is Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- On-call is possible
- Charting system is TruBridge (Evident); Epic experience highly preferred
- Equipment used includes Hologic DBT, MRS mammography reporting system, and McKesson PACS
- CT experience is preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography technologist experience
- Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (M) certification required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- The facility offers complimentary furnished housing, including units with washer and dryer; a limited number of pet-friendly units are available (one dog allowed in select units; cats allowed in very few units)
- Candidates who arrange their own housing are also welcome
- Shared housing may be available but is avoided for travelers accompanied by a spouse or partner
