Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring a minimum of 1-3 years of Med/Surg and telemetry experience with a valid ND or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute care Med/Surg unit in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
- 16-bed Med/Surg unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Procedures include dressing changes, ventilator management, IV starts, and telemetry monitoring
- Charting via Epic EMR; medications dispensed via Omnicell
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every 3rd weekend required
- No floating requirements
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active ND or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1-3 years of Med/Surg and telemetry (tele) experience required
- BSN not required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include dressing changes, ventilator care, IV starts, and telemetry monitoring
- Equipment used includes Space Labs monitors and Omnicell medication dispensing system
- Orientation is approximately 1 week; required modules must be completed prior to start
- Scrubs required
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Travelers with any previous employment at this facility must disclose it for a Do Not Use (DNU) check
