Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a fast-paced 13-week travel assignment in Bullhead City, AZ, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and on-call availability for nights and weekends.

Details

• Works in a 6-bed OR plus 1 Endoscopy Suite within a hospital setting
• Specialties include: Endoscopy, General Surgery (open, laparoscopic, robotic with Da Vinci Xi), ENT, Vascular, Orthopedics (total joints, arthroscopy, trauma — no spine), Pain Management, Gynecology (no obstetrics), Urology, and Podiatry
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts; some case-dependent flexing may be required to complete cases running over
• On-call availability for nights and weekends is required with no set minimum or maximum
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR Circulator experience required
• Must be able to function independently after 1 week of orientation
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Performs circulating duties in a fast-paced OR environment covering a wide range of surgical specialties
• Light blue scrubs are required and are provided on-site
• RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration; RTO is blacked out for the 4th of July
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but the role requires the ability to work independently after just 1 week of orientation
