Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Infection Preventionist for a part-time contract in the Columbia Gorge area, requiring an active Oregon RN license and hands-on infection prevention experience.
Details
- Part-time schedule: either 4 hours/day, 5 days/week, or 3 days/week (two 8-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift, Monday/Wednesday/Friday)
- Day shift position
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Oregon (OR) RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the submitted specialty required
- Recent hands-on experience as an Infection Preventionist required
- Must have worked in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months
- Two supervisor references required: one from the past year (preferably most recent employment) and one from within the past two years
- No prior disciplinary actions or hits on license will be considered
- Active, unrestricted license with no prior adverse actions on record required
Additional Information
- Candidate must be able to hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time
- No radius rule applies — local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate as traveling candidates
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract; requests exceeding 5 days will result in automatic disqualification
