Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Corsicana, TX, requiring Level IV trauma experience, a TX or compact RN license, and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Day shift position, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), 13-week contract
• Emergency Department setting with 14 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• EMR: MEDHOST-EDIS
• No on-call or block scheduling requirements

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Level IV trauma experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrubs must be any solid color
• Parking is available in front of the hospital
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; 2+ years of experience is required
