Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment requiring 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• 34-bed Emergency Department serving patients from neonates to geriatrics
• Averages approximately 100 patient visits per day
• ED is staffed with MD/PA providers and includes a dedicated triage area
• Telemetry monitoring and conscious sedation procedures are performed in this unit
• Uses Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication management
• Schedule: 3x12-hour mid shifts (10:00–22:00)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to units of like or lesser acuity may be required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Epic EMR experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
• PDF copies of a valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Orientation is 24 hours
