Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in California, requiring a CA license and a minimum of 2 years of experience across a diverse range of patient populations.

Details

  • Acute care hospital OT unit
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
  • 13-week contract
  • Patient population includes CVA, trauma, orthopedic, medical-surgical, neurological, and ambulatory care cases

Requirements

  • Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience with CVA, trauma, ortho, med-surg, neuro, and ambulatory care populations
  • 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
  • Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Plans and implements Occupational Therapy programs for patients and participates in department programs
  • Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate — contact your recruiter for details
