Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, strong IV skills, and prior tech experience.

Details

• GI/Endoscopy Lab setting in a hospital environment
• Patient mix is approximately 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient, with a volume of approximately 25 patients per day
• Day shift: 0700–1730 (10-hour shifts, 4 days per week)
• 40 hours per week
• RNs take call on weekends (10-hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday) and are expected to take call 1–2 days per week on weekdays (2-hour call blocks, self-scheduled)
• Weekends and holidays are covered through on-call rotation
• No floating required
• EMR: Epic and EndoWorks (facility is transitioning away from EndoWorks)

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• GI/Endoscopy tech experience is required
• Strong IV skills required

Additional Information

• One week of floor orientation provided
• Scrub requirements: navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops; jackets must be solid navy blue or solid white
