Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of large hospital experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel contract in the Miami Valley area.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department
• Day shifts, 4x8 hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• 13-week contract
• May be required to float to other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
• May have on-call responsibilities
• Every other holiday coverage is required

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major or area of study in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting; Level 1 trauma experience preferred, Level 2 accepted
• Current BLS (AHA), ARRT, and ODH certification required
• GE MRI equipment experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to be fitted for an N95 respirator prior to working in the HRRU unit

Additional Information

• Independently performs diagnostic MRI procedures utilizing proper techniques and contrast media administration
• Administers medications and performs venipuncture within scope of practice and licensure
• Coordinates patient flow and department activities
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; no RTO will be added after an offer is made, and approval is at the manager's discretion
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted for this Radiology position
