Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an inpatient rehab position at a hospital setting in California.

Details

• Inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing individualized physical treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function
• Develops and updates patient Plans of Care (POC) based on evaluation findings and clinical diagnoses
• Coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary team members and support staff
• Provides clinical supervision to PT assistants and aides, and may serve as clinical instructor for students
• Performs EHR documentation including patient evaluations, treatment records, and charge capture
• Participates in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved
