Description
American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Charleston, SC.
Details
- Located in the Medical Imaging department of a 321-bed acute care hospital in Charleston, SC
- Position is based in the Special Procedures unit within the main hospital building
- Procedures include moderate sedation across multiple Imaging departments, including CT, MRI, US, Radiology, and Interventional Radiology
- Monday through Friday day shifts with rotational schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM until cases are completed on call days
- Rotational call required on both weekdays and weekends
- May float to all departments within Medical Imaging per facility policy
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required; must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months
- Neuro Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- License required if applicable
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional reference required (two references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

- Blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
